I’m in my 30s and I’m not afraid to admit…

1. I have so many hobbies and I’m mostly only mediocre at all of them because i lack discipline and consistency — but i still have the most fun doing them!

2. I still don’t know if I’m meant to be a mom but the gravity of this decision has been sitting heavy with me and i wish i had the clarity so many others seem to have

3. I refuse to settle when im spending money — quality over quantity and if the timing isn’t right, id rather wait

4. I hate how social media normalizes overconsumption and comparison but I still love having this little diary where I share our highlights so I keep coming back

5. I want to help people but I don’t believe in most healthcare practices

6. I still struggle to do things alone because i think experiences are more fun to share, and I’ve only very recently become better at doing them alone than not at all

7. I prefer to keep my inner circle small but I miss my friends and making new ones does not come easily to me

8. I feel guilty for moving away from our families and wish it was realistic to see them more. it’s hard to explain why you’d ever move so far away from people you love so much. I worry about how they may interpret our decisions even though they’ve never showed us anything but support

9. I want to cut down on my nursing hours but I’m afraid to truly commit to starting any of the business ideas i have had — I’m unsure if any of them are even realistic for me and having a three day work schedule, job security, and a reliable income are hard to let go of

10. We are unsure what our timeline of becoming homeowners looks like and we are at peace with that because we are just happy to have found a place we are both excited to call home
