We are dedicated to inspiring youth to cherish their past, embrace the present, and envision a future where they have a strong sense of self. Striving to cultivate a profound sense of pride and accountability among the youth by introducing innovative and engaging programmes and activities.

Our objective is to educate and inspire young individuals, through artistic expression, to actively participate in the preservation of the narratives and historical contexts that shape our identity. In doing so, we also equip them with essential tools and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

As we cultivate a new generation of cultural ambassadors and leaders, we pay tribute to our important past and shape a better future!

Visit www.ourcapetownheritage.org/youth-initiatives to learn more or email us at info@ourcapetownheritage.org to participate, collaborate, sponsor or help volunteer. Alternatively, call or Whatsapp our nonprofit organization at +27 83 995 3609

OCTH and Yasser Booley would like to thank everyone who came out to see The Guest: Bo-Kaap Barakah exhibition. It was a great success!

We envision a future where the rich tapestry of cultural history continues to inspire and resonate, ensuring that these narratives are passed down through the ages. Through our efforts, we hope to create a lasting impact that empowers individuals and communities alike, encouraging them to take pride in their heritage and share their unique stories with the world. In doing so, we contribute to a more accessible and enriched cultural landscape for everyone.

We hope to bring you and expand even more exciting, educational and informative exhibitions in 2025. The constant support you provide the artists and our initiatives invigorates our efforts. It drives us to empower marginalized artists, narrate OUR stories, and ensure that our heritage and culture are both preserved and celebrated.

A4 Artwork Prints will be available at www.ourcapetownheritage.org/store in the coming week. Delivery service is by Ish Couriers.
{By choosing to buy online, you play a vital role in helping our nonprofit organization, nurturing a small local service delivery and supporting marginalized artists, an initiative we are proud to promote.}

Thank you to @thedolliehouse for the constant support and amazing images they've captured.
