POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are beyond excited to bring you fresh new music at @ahmaitland THIS Wednesday, May 27th!
We have supplied musical works inspired by Mär Martinez’s, 𝘈 𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘮, 𝘢 𝘍𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢 𝘞𝘪𝘳𝘦, 𝘢 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 to be performed in the gallery absolutely FREE (tickets still required- link in bio).
Over the past months we have been working closely with the Art and History Museum of Maitland, the fine folks of @muditaamerica , and @howeymusicseries to create the perfect accompaniment for Mär’s artistic creations on display.

Featured composers include:
• Gerald Law II with his piece “Remnants of Home”
• Scout with “Vibrant Colours in the Darkest Nights”
• Charlie Griffin with “Ballad of a Wild Girl”
• Denise Broadhurst’s “Three Rosetti Poems”
• Erik Branch with “These Vulgar Spools” and
• Ryan McQuinn’s “Through Ebony to Ivory”

These pieces will be performed by
Christine Honein- soprano
Emily Heumann- mezzo-soprano
Aysima Anik- violin
Dennis Fleitz- cello
Eric Rokni- santoor
and Christian Snedeker- percussion

There will also be a Q&A with the artist, composers, and performers.

We hope to see you there at 7pm (but come early to get a good spot!)

Merry Christmas🎄

My oh my this has been such a season of giving and gigging. This is the most I have ever worked and sang during the Christmas season and honestly, I enjoyed every second of it. Every single person in this post, whether it’s one or an ensemble have made such glorious music with me and shared memories this month that will last a lifetime. To my friends, all of you have left a major mark on my heart and have always stood by me when things felt so hard or out of reach but all of you have only ever given me love and support and I want to just thank you all and say how much I love you❤️

Finally, the new friends I’ve made. When I first began this journey of gigging especially for the Dickens Carolers, I was terrified I thought I was jumping into a huge mess but eventually, I discovered such amazing singers and people that made this experience so memorable and one that I truthfully didn’t want to end and I’m honestly praying that a surprise gig comes out of nowhere because I miss singing with all of you. I cannot wait to do this again next year and sing with such talented people once again.❤️

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and the happiest of New Year’s to all of you. All my love and prayers to you and your families.❤️
