Enfin! We have been working on this exhibition for two and a half years, building it from the ground up. I Want You to Love Me More is the first chapter of a larger cycle of intimacy that has grown out of years of collected materials, relationships, collaborations, and chosen family.

Merci à tous ceux qui ont collaboré et joins le projet pendant tout ce temps.

life was harsh on me lately and in times like this i just look back at the memories, to the times that it felt comfortable and easy. and i had a lot of time about thinking about “people” in general, as a concept and surely as a comparison within the people in my life. people come and go, a lot of people came in and went away from my life for the past couple of years and sometimes i do not really know how i feel about it. before, i knew how i feel about creating space for someone new to my life and letting someone go from my life, it was both hard and scary for me, now i dont fear it that much (still working on it lol) but i do feel both became easier. i think i managed to finish some kind of cycle when i get into 27 (thats what naz told me once) or just in the phase of finishing it still, but im sure about some certain concepts of life, as well as being sure about what is right and what is wrong in some occasions (not every occasion, attention). neyse, i feel like im using this account as a diary now and i fear i have to lock it bc of that, last but not least, keep the people who respects your boundaries and gives you the freedom to be your true self close. they are the gems of your life.

i miss one of my best gems in my life, tremendously @aysunazatalay

Who are 𝖊-𝖒𝖊𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖕𝖔𝖊𝖙𝖘? Some of them met online, some of them met in person. But what connects them all is poems in the poetry zine by living language / żywy język, a bilingual indie press run by Monika Rybińska (@_monikarybinska).

And it's time to introduce the poets, starting with Aysu Naz Atalay (@aysunazatalay), who wrote 𝕴 𝖈𝖆𝖚𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖆 𝖋𝖑𝖞 𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖋𝖚𝖑𝖑 𝖒𝖔𝖔𝖓! Every poet answered three questions about their work and writing process. Find out what Aysu said!

But first, a few words about the poet herself: Aysu (she/her) is a writer based in Berlin. She mostly writes about dreams, ghosts, transitions, home, and borders. Lately, she has been interested in socio-spatial relationships, exploring how urban environments shape identities. She also works as a freelance writer in the psychedelic space, writing education-oriented articles for journals.

Q: What draws you to poetry?

Aysu: Poetry feels like accessing an invisible world detached from what is familiar to us and I find that very intriguing.

Q: Can you share a bit about your writing process? Do you have any rituals or inspirations?

Aysu: Yes, I love simple everyday rituals—asking questions to those around me, having all-night talks, daydreaming, urban walking, studying places, early morning walks, and simply observing, collecting and documenting of things
I see and hear.

Q: What was the spark behind your poem in 𝖊-𝖒𝖊𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖕𝖔𝖊𝖙𝖘?

Aysu: The idea of change and the things we carry with us or things we leave behind; it was also the first full moon after I moved into a new place, and writing a poem was part of my ritual.
