A couple of months ago I had the absolute delight of filming Poem Play for @aytwit_collective . Congratulations to everybody, including puppet ringleader Spiral, director’s chair @five_hotdogs and @fritenitetriplesix for your dedication a midsummer night’s dream. There is so much magic back home in Baltimore because of you.

Spooky music from Albert Bagman @albertbagman delightful experimental theater by Are You Think What I’m Thinking? Collective @aytwit_collective and sonic ritual from Papess, a new music and performances art project from Moth Broth’s Aris @dreambabyjb

AL & dog is a solo performance art project based out of West Virginia. Debuting our new indoor bar to support a week of #awpoffsite events!

Join us tonight as @bruiser_mag presents @hexliterary @brokenriverbooks @blush_lit @birdsllc @bloodfest2009 with readings followed by a party! And tomorrow for a special AWP iteration of Crosscurrence with readings, music, and performance.

Scroll through for pictures from the past two beautiful nights of readings with Proxima Arcanum last night and Carver Coffeehouse memorial readings for Bonny Boston the night before!

PS - Because a couple folks have asked, this room will still be a gallery space most of the year. We are NOT going to stop having exhibitions! Adding an indoor bar allows us to actually utilize all the bar equipment that previously just took up space hidden in a storage corner of the gallery over the winter. It also gives us the option of hosting some performances and programming indoors over the winters when the courtyard is closed, like this week of AWP readings!

We have exhibitions scheduled in both the Main Gallery and Project Space gallery again starting in April. In fact, mark your calendars now for the Opening Receptions of the 2026 Baker Artist Award Finalist Showcase and @jamesbouche 's "The Classroom" on Friday, April 17 from 7-10pm!

Can't wait for you all to see!

It’s taken weeks to figure out the right words to say but they all sound cliche compared to how moved I feel when I think of this entire experience and the beautiful people involved … but I can’t wait any longer so here goes… There will never be a time I don’t celebrate the beauty that was making and sharing “SMaLL WiNs”. Spending three months with these brilliant artists, creators, collaborators and friends was truly inspiring and invigorating. I am forever grateful to them and to @aytwit_collective for trusting me, encouraging me and believing in me even when I did not. Not to mention, the outpouring of love and support from our community was stunning. thank you for sharing our joy and for spreading it around 💖 this one goes out to you 🎉🏆

My dearest Nick. I’m sorry to tag the ghost of you in yet another post. It will happen again. I know @seanvmercer will take another cool pic with you in it. Oh, how many people should know that you had to miss the gig because of covid? Should I include it in this post too? Let me know the vibe. Love you.
