Blooming into Solitude has been my proudest art piece up to date. Some things in this piece were improvised and better planning probably would have been a good idea but I’m happy with the result of the piece anyway.

This final project in LSAD made me question what type of art am I making, who am I making the art for, and most importantly, it made me question myself as an artist.
Looking back at the last semester of 4th year sculpture, I wouldn’t change a thing. These last few months have went exactly how they should have and placed me on a path of ambition and confidence in myself and as a contemporary artist.

These 4 years have been a blessing; meeting new people, creating unforgettable memories and learning from my mistakes.
Life is short and it goes by so fast without you even knowing it, appreciate the present and learn from the past and always look forward to the future.

Today 4th year sculpture and combined media students presented their manifestos. An art manifesto is a public declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of an artist or artistic movement. Congratulations to all involved and thanks to all who came!
