Well our summer season has come to an end. I wish we had a better outcome at NABI for a lot of our boys who it was their first time playing in this tournament. Our chemistry still needs to get better but overall I am so proud of how hard these boys worked and played through Native Nationals and NABI. I’m still growing as a coach and trying to perfect my craft. I might not always call the right play or make the correct substitutions and make the right adjustments but these boys helped me grow as a coach and when they go on a scoring run or create a couple defensive turnovers in a row they make my job easier! We had boys from Page/Kaibeto, Monument Valley, Phoenix, Holbrook and Yuma and Im just thankful they were able to drive all this way to give me their very best, that’s all I could ever ask. My seniors thank you guys for helping build and shape this team in the right direction for our younger boys coming up to play in the future and if you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to reach out I am one phone call away to come help with whatever you may need in life! To my boys parents thank you for being patient with me even when I was going back and forth from the hospital and trusting me to take care and coach up your sons, they had me cracking up through this whole week! To all my Rez Dog boys thank you for the gift it really means a lot to me and thank you for trusting me to be your coach and lead you guys into battle, hope to have you guys back for next years tourneys! I love each and every one of you boys like my own little boy Daniel…Kwakwai, ahéheé, and thank you Rez Dogs family for helping me build this team up, till next year. God Bless 🙏🏽 #nabination #rezdogs #bballfamily🏀❤️
