📢 Welcome to the Crew!

A big Cap City welcome to our newest member, Azariah aka Azzie @azariahb_! 🎉

We’re excited to have her join the Cap City Class of 2026 and our crew of passionate runners of all levels who hit the pavement, push limits, and support each other every step of the way.

Azzie joins Cap City after recently relocating from Boston where she was a member of @pynrs_ run club. She is a former track & field athlete running short distances. She has been a regular attendee of Crew & Coffee Saturday runs last fall.

When asked why she wanted to join Cap City, she stated “I want to grow as a runner and compete as a distance runner, and be part of a thriving community.”

2024 has been a beautiful rollercoaster filled with many ups and many downs. What I love most about the last eight months are my random adventures and all the time I got to spend with my god given and chosen family

Some of my earliest memories were at Harvard University. My mom would bring me to class with her sometimes and I’d sit on the floor as a kid… I remember her graduating and I remember her putting her degree on the wall for all to see. I use to think I wanted a Harvard degree just to have a conversation piece in the living room! Lol my mom set the bar high for me! And I praise her for it. yesterday I went back to Harvard University to work on photos with my friends at @hgsebsu!! Full circle moment for me to be there working on ideas with amazing people… great work @mrluders! Thank you!! #harvard #claudinegay #boston
