Aziza (2026) — ink + acrylic on paper. A little story time. ✨

I sketched this piece one day, completely from my raw imagination. No plan, no real intention — I just let her come through.

The next day, I was yapping with my dear friend about all the exciting things we’re manifesting for our artistic journeys.

And then I gasped.

I realized I had literally created HER the day before. The locs. The shirt. She was wearing this exact shirt when we spoke — and I had no idea she even owned a Brazil shirt. The energy. Even the significance of that day and the things we were talking about.

Things I couldn’t have consciously known when I drew her.

Sometimes the imagination isn’t imagining at all — sometimes it’s remembering what hasn’t happened yet. 🫶🏽🪐✨#art #artforsale

The Eastern Regional Conference is officially in the books!
The 55th ERC of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated®, themed “The Gift of Purpose, The Charm of Impact,” gave me the opportunity to attend & serve with purpose in my hometown as a member of the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter. ❤️🤍🔺
As one of three Fitness Subcommittee Co-Chairs on the Regional Conference Planning Committee, I helped bring our “Wake, Shake & Activate” Zumba experience to life. Our committee also collaborated with the Hospitality Committee to create “The Zen Den,” a space for Sorors to pause, breathe, rest, and restore.
One of my proudest moments was seeing the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter’s Physical & Mental Health Committee, where I previously served as Co-Chair, be recognized with an award for our work. 🏆❤️ It was a beautiful reminder that the time, energy, creativity, and love we pour into serving our Sorors and community truly matter. Special shout-out to our committee chair, Soror @luvelysb!
I’m grateful to have experienced this conference surrounded by my extraordinary Sorors who are committed to service, scholarship, social action, leadership, and lifting others. I leave blessed, proud, and inspired—with an even deeper understanding of “The Gift of Purpose, The Charm of Impact” and the Power of ONE 🔺.

We are THE EAST! ❤️🤍
