A system gives us direction. People give it life.

At Malbourne, we’re building systems to make things clearer, smoother, and more consistent—not to make everything feel like a machine.

There will always be things a system can’t teach how we welcome someone, how we look after each other, the small details, and simply being present.

Because at the end of the day, it’s about people, shared experiences, and crafting deeper bonds along the way.

Build the system. Keep it human.

Ownership isn't about having the title.
It's about treating every cup, every guest, every detail like it carries your name.

At Malbourne, we don't just do our job.
WE TAKE OWNERSHIP.WECARE.WE MAKE IT BETTER.

That's the MENTALITY.

The best part of our job isn't serving coffee.
It's getting to know the people holding the cup.

Thank you for every conversation, every laugh, every familiar face, every moment you've shared with us. You make this place feel alive.

Our coffee is made by hand.
Our hospitality come from our heart ❤️

“Customer is king” has never felt right to us.

At Malbourne, we’d rather treat you like a friend.

Less scripted.
More genuine.
More conversations.
More connection.

Because the best cafés aren’t built on transactions—they’re built on relationships.

Not everything has to be complicated.
sometimes all you need is the right place, the right people, and a little push to start.

keep growing, keep showing up.
your future self will thank you later.

Not just the coffee, It’s everything around it. 🙌

The first impressions already say a lot: music, lighting, the way you’re welcomed. A simple “hi” that actually feels like one

No one likes waiting too long, but rushed doesn’t feel right either. There’s a rhythm to it, and you know when it clicks. Being remembered hits different your name, your usual order… it stays with you. Knowing what’s served builds trust; you can tell when someone really gets it.

And when things go off, just listen, be real, make it right. Because people don’t come back just for coffee, they come back for the feeling they had without needing to explain it.

Just like @azmibadres said Great coffee gets attention. Great experience builds the community. ☕️

Ever wonder why you keep coming back to that one specific corner? 🤔

It’s that ‘Third Place’ magic. Home is where the chores are, and work is where the deadlines live. But here? This is the sweet spot in between where you’re not a boss or a student. You’re just you.

Not just the caffeine fix. It’s about the environment, the curated playlist, and those specific unhurried vibes that let you stay, breathe, and finally feel at home. 🌿

What’s the one thing that makes a coffee shop feel like ‘home’ to you? Tell us below! 👇

The “don’t breathe until it’s perfect” pour.

Honestly, it’s 10% milk and 90% us holding our breath. We overthink the pour so you can just... exist for a second.

Too pretty to drink? Almost.

Swing by the bar?

First (good) coffee of 2026 during my new year’s trip to Malang. Have been eyeing this coffee shop for so long @malbournecoffeeco. The name reminds me of Melbourne but the vibes is a mix of subtle Arabic decor and paintings in an industrial building. The beans are nice, my favourite is Blueberry Forest. They have dirty latte, and there are special menu & complete manual brew line-ups. Personally, I could consider this as a serious coffee shop.

This was my first 2026 #KopiSafari edition for this year. This hashtag is used for whenever I visit and explore new coffee-related stuff and/or new coffee shops in new cities because I #MalesBikinKopi (too lazy to make coffee) too. Stay tuned for more!

Before you focus on growing your business, start with growing yourself.

Have you taken care of your body today? Rested, moved, and fueled up? It’s not just about looks, it’s about energy to keep going.

How sharp is your mind? Are you solving problems? A strong mind leads to stronger decisions and better consistency.

What about your emotions? How do you handle pressure? Mastering your emotions makes you a stronger leader in life and business.

And lastly, your spirit. What’s the deeper purpose behind your hustle? When you’re aligned with your true spirit, peace and success follow.

Before growing your business, grow YOU. Once you’ve got that, the rest will flow.

Not every café wins because their product is the “best.”

Most people come back for something much simpler, the way the place makes them feel.

Did the staff make them comfortable?
Did the space feel welcoming?
Did they feel seen, not rushed?

And as @azmibadres shared, great feeling is what keeps people choosing you again and again.

Comfort builds loyalty.
The cup is just the beginning. ☕✨

Not every customer will love your coffee. Some might say it’s too strong, too expensive, or maybe the vibe just isn’t their thing. And that’s perfectly fine. 🙌

Rejection? It’s actually your friend. It helps you figure out who your café is truly meant for.

Once you understand that, everything else falls into place, your menu, your pricing, your vibe, your identity. 🌱

Stop chasing everyone. Start building your own path.

Like @azmibadres said, it’s not about being popular ; it’s about being purposeful. 💡
