Impressions of my last gig at @roca_hifi in Mexico City. It was a pleasure to pinch in such quality, it really pushes one to focus on details and braid the tracks into each other in a smoother wat. This time I started with some downtempo moving to funky afrobeat & ending with melodically rich house.

Also this is me gardening the ground for some @azucar_escort magic in this city 💎

OVERDRESSED — Berlin Art Week

Overdressed opened its doors on Thursday, September 10, during Berlin Art Week, bringing together the work of 18 international artists at Princess Sofia.

An evening where art, fashion, music and people came together naturally — celebrating different ways of seeing, creating and expressing ourselves.

We’re deeply grateful to every artist who trusted us and became part of this exhibition, to everyone who came to celebrate with us, and to all the people who helped make this night possible.

Thank you for showing up, dressing up, and making Overdressed what it was.

Until the next one. 🖤

𝓖𝓮𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓪 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓼 𝓽𝓸𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 💞

They can try to scare us off, but the streets have always been ours. It's where we live, where we dance, where we hold each other up.

Joy is defiance, and every one of these pictures is proof of it. Every hug, every smile. We'll keep showing up: music, sweat, glitter, all of it.

Our hearts are with the community, the victims and their families. We’ll love harder. Dance harder. For them too 🤍

Gelatina ALWAYS sticks together 💫

S/o to @yng_frans for picturing that day 🫶🏼

Transcultural party starting at 10 p.m. at the Tiki Bar
We’re thrilled to be a partner of Circus Eins Projekte and to welcome the team and the performers of “Future Songs of Fish and People” to our venue this evening. Some of the performers are staying here during rehearsals, and the premiere party will also take place at Tiki Bar ;)

Following the world premiere of “Future Songs of Fish and People,” the premiere party will kick off with the DJ power duo Azúcar Escort. The duo consists of DJ Malkriao (Rafael Ibarra) and DJ Simon Perra (Simon Knab).

Formed in 2016 after they met while studying at the Berlin University of the Arts, the project grew out of their shared love for bold Afro-Latin American beats and house music.

Their rousing performances, featuring live vocals by Malkriao, are full of color and sexy playfulness, inviting the audience to dance wildly and connect with one another without taking themselves too seriously.
