Had a slow day on pokegama today. Our starting area didn’t produce and it was a grind to get a limit. Had 15.73 for 6th place so that’s decent TOY points. Gotta love pulling on the @stcroixrods 7’10 heavy mojo glide rod! @minnkotamotors @humminbirdfishing @basscatboats @mercurymarine

Had a blast on the first MN JR bass derby today on lake Minnewawa. Had a good ish bag that got us some of the important qualifying points for. Caught most of my fish on a @daiwausa tatula 7’1” heavy jig rod. Also put the @stcroixrods 7’11” heavy froggin stick to work. Was an absolute blast and very happy with a 7th place finish because some of these kids can really catch bass. Pokegama next! Also congrats to @bradymattsonfishin and Reid Johnson for the big W! @basscatboats @mercurymarine @humminbirdfishing @minnkotamotors @garmin

After a 1st place finish at fish lake for the first tournament of the year we were pretty sure we’d be able to put it all together this year. We originally finished 5th place on pokegama lake but after some controversy we were pushed up to 2nd place. After these two tournaments we knew we had a good shot at making state even without a great finish at Vermillion. (Yes we had 5 fish at vermillion but my buddy dropped one of his).

Boy this one was a grind. After a very rough prefishing and having to be in our backup boat we pulled through for the first Minnesota Jr. bass nation tournament for the greater north region on fish lake north of Duluth. We only caught the 5 keepers all day. #bigbass #largies #tourny #bassin #grind #largemouth #bass

#ice #icefishing #crappie #bass #sturgeon #walleye #sauger #skiing #friends #family #blessed #love Life’s been so great lately. From bass fishing in the summer with friends to slaying walleye and crappie through the ice. Meeting new friends learning to crappie fish through the ice. Skiing, hanging out with friends and family. So much more to say but I’ll keep it plain and simple. I’m so blessed to have these great friends and opportunities. (Sorry dane I had to)
