THE MAYHEM BALL - THE FINAL LEG

It has taken me months to try to process the entire experience lived over the last 1 & 1/2 years, and following Gaga as she was now closing the gates of the Opera Haus for good was an experience like no other, a bombastic culmination to my favorite era as a monster, and in big way the ending of it felt like a graduation. This show allowed me to dream, to face myself and feel like I could enter the next phase of my life in a deep way I needed. I had a big realization on how I can give myself my own permission to be, as long as I also stay true to those chaotic aspects that make me feel the most alive.

Little did we know at the time, as we do now, that this time was also setting the ground for a particular new chapter for her as well.
-
This leg came to me as a big surprise, and it was a bit of a hassle to plan, but eventually decided I would try to do as much as I possibly could. I also decided I would very consciously try to up my look game in comparison to the shows from last year. Try to give each show a strong moment.
-
I now continue to miss all the music, friends, outfits, the grandeur of each show, the hectic traveling, and feeling like a part of this beautiful madness.
-
I say often the MAYHEM era has opened up a portal for me. And now I am ready to step in.

NYC closing night look. So important and dear to my heart. I had an idea, and with very little clothes making experience, decided to give it a go and follow the raw feeling, making this entire top piece by hand. The process took days.
