A Saturday in Newport, during @audrainconcours

woah! what a saturday :) from beginning to end i had such a blast, this could’ve been the best day of my life 😅 i started the morning joining @streetspecofficial to cruise into cars and coffee, where i got to meet the whole cast and bond over our love for cars and cameras! everyone i met is truly awesome and i cant wait to get up to more antics with them.

at cars and coffee, we were greeted by @larry_chen_foto who was in town for the weekend! larry is the man. i’ve admired his work for as long as i’ve been able to conceive a photo of a car being cool, so to meet him and get to have a genuine moment made the weekend truly.

the supercar concours is a first of its kind event by the audrain museum, and i think they knocked it out of the park! i’m sure this was a consensus, but to lay my eyes on XP4 was absolutely unreal. i took all of 5 pictures because my jaw was dropped staring at that S70 dressed up in gold. there’s some things you can’t beat, and that’s definitely one of them. the rest of everything was absolutely spectacular as well :) thanks so much to everyone who brought their prized possession and the volunteers and staff who helped put on the event!
-
and then to end off the night, @gencofunded hosted their first annual brenton point night meet! an amazing showing for a saturday night in newport is an understatement, it was so awesome getting to meet so many great people here :) thanks for putting it on!! i’ll be sure to attend next year.
-
i have some photos from sunday and the supercar tour to go through as well, to be continued ;)

Day 2 down in the books for @audrainconcours , only thing I didn’t do was the gathering but it’s okay it gave some new photographers a chance as i usually do media every year. Tomorrow is the biggest day , day 3 when they have cars and coffee , tour d’elegance , supercar concours , motor week village , bellevue car display and a few other events. Definitely don’t miss it if you haven’t been to motor week.

The Gathering is October 2nd at Rough Point hosted by @audrainautomuseum as part of their yearly Motorweek Celebration in Newport Rhode Island. The Gathering offers a chance to check out a selection of cars presented on the oceanfront lawn of the Doris Duke cottage. It’s a chance for builders, brands, aficionados and artists to gather, mingle, influence and enjoy the day. Oh and did I mention an excellent selection of fare from multiple venues that are all not to miss. Never know who you’ll run into 👀
