POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A special moment from @audrainconcours reuniting two cars that have not been together in over 15 years! Both vehicles, a 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL, and 2009 Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren were purchased new by the same owner finished in an Ivory shade called “Elfenbein”. In 2009 Mercedes only built four “paint to sample” SLR’s, this example being the only one finished in “Elfenbein” to match the 300SL. An incredible moment getting both cars back together for a photoshoot after the supercar concours concluded on Saturday!

Life is one crazy roller coaster.
There are so many nerve racking uphill climbs up to peaceful, beautiful peaks with views of the whole world. There’s fast turbulent drops that sometimes you see coming… but sometimes you don’t. And often the only thing you can do is hold on tight, brace yourself, and give a quick look to the one strapped into this thing with you. You have no clue when its gonna end, but despite how crazy and hectic it is, you don’t really want it to be too soon. Because all those ups and downs add up to one thrilling ride.

I have come to accept that unfortunately without those hard drops, and low valleys we’d have no way to really contextualize the highs and appreciate the beauty of those moments. I constantly remind myself to stop and think, look around for a moment, take it in. The important wins, and the big milestones will always be sure to bring a smile to your face. But don’t forget to appreciate the little moments too, the inside joke that will last a lifetime, the start of a new friendship, the reunion of an old one. And especially, the ability to sit down with the ones you love, talk some shit, and laugh till you’re out of breath. Because you never know when this ride will be over.

A masterpiece takes the top prize.

Congratulations to Fritz Burkard and his extraordinary 1938 Delahaye 165 Figoni & Falaschi on being crowned Best of Show at the 2026 Audrain Concours.

An absolutely stunning work of art from every angle. The craftsmanship, elegance, and presence of this Delahaye are simply breathtaking.

A truly deserving Best of Show.
Congratulations Fritz, on an incredible achievement.

Day 2 down in the books for @audrainconcours , only thing I didn’t do was the gathering but it’s okay it gave some new photographers a chance as i usually do media every year. Tomorrow is the biggest day , day 3 when they have cars and coffee , tour d’elegance , supercar concours , motor week village , bellevue car display and a few other events. Definitely don’t miss it if you haven’t been to motor week.
