And just like that my club career is over… I’ve made countless friends and endless opportunities thanks to the sport of volleyball and i’m sad to see it go but i’m excited for the next chapter💙

Trust the process.

I’ve been saying this from the start—three years ago, when I launched the boys’ program at United. They went from losing every set that first year and learning the foundations of volleyball to running combos, winning matches and divison brackets, and now securing their first-ever bid to the USAV National Championship this summer in Minneapolis (which, to my knowledge, makes them the first boys’ team in Alabama to do so—someone correct me if I’m wrong!).

This month, we traveled to St. Louis and Atlanta, where the team had plenty of high-level moments and just as many learning moments. Pool play DOES matter. Serve receive DOES matter. Energy and communication DO matter. When they trust each other and are intentional while playing, they play lights out

I’m proud of these guys for putting in the work and believing in the process. If they keep it up, the sky’s the limit.
