Just like that, Dayshift Season 3 comes to a close 🌞 The last three years have been a very special time for us. We never expected such a vibrant and wonderful community would be formed around our Marrickville party. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been involved for the last three years, including so many of you that have come through to every single event! We will be taking an indefinite pause on events as we figure out what’s next. This is not goodbye forever. We will be taking some time to figure out our next steps with full intention to come back to you all with something even better next season. Special shout out to all those that have helped us from the beginning, The Sydney Portugal Community Club, Buzz Speaker Hire, Humanitix, all of our friends volunteering hours of their time event after event, this whole thing is only possible with you all. A final thank you to all of you, for being what we think is the best community out there! Dayshift would be nothing without its people. The weather was against us, but that was without a doubt one of the most fun and vibrant Dayshift’s we’ve had!   The dancefloors were heaving and the vibes were as high as they’ve ever been. We can’t thank each any every one of you for keeping the positivity up and contributing to an amazingly fun day despite the wet weather - that’s what community is all about.   A huge thank you as always to everyone who helped out, especially those who helped with last minute contingency plans to deal with the weather, we can’t thank you, and all of our wonderful volunteers enough.   Next up we have our final party of the season this coming March, before Dayshift once again goes into hibernation for the winter. Keep your eyes out for an announce of that in the coming weeks!   Until then, stay safe, stay dry, we’ll see you all again very soon 🌞   Much love, Dayshift

And with that, we’re back 🌞 The last two weekends marked our very first interstate party in Naarm, and a warm home-coming in Marrickville. As always, the sense of community that surrounds Dayshift is the one core trait that makes this whole thing possible, without the enthusiasm of each and every one of you, DS would not be what it is today. A huge thank you goes out to all of our friends for volunteering their time, the artists, AV crews, medics, and venue staff for each bringing their invaluable expertise and support to the party. Next up, we’ll be hosting a very special River Stage full day into night session at @subsonicmusic Festival on the first weekend of December. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing a few more highlights from our first dance back home before announcing the next Dayshift. Until then, be safe, and see you all again soon! And with that the first Dayshift of 2025 is complete 🌞 Mother nature did her absolute best to rain on our parade but you all pulled up as hyped and enthusiastic as ever, and this is exactly what makes this community so special. A huge thank you to the incredible artists, vendors, volunteers, AV crew, medics, venue staff, and of course all of you for braving the weather and each playing your part in creating some of the most fun and inclusive vibes in town. Big shout out to @buzzspeakerhire for helping us with some last minute stage design switch ups to keep the event wind and rain proof. There will be one more Dayshift this season, so keep eye out for more info on this soon 👀 The full video recordings from October and this party will begin dropping in the coming weeks and we can’t wait to see you all again for our last dance of the season in a few months.
