Drifting ain’t drifting without the homies

Idek what to say….. @driftgld was pretty much the reason I’m where I’m at today. I started spectating final bout back in like 2014, but never saw that as an attainable thing. Then GLD started doing drifting and I figured it was time to dip my feet in and try it with the Miata. GLD holds both some of my best and most life changing memories…. I met some of my closest friends there, It was where I learned to drive, progress, and even where I did my first 3rd gear entry. It also was where I had some of my most life changing memories: I crashed the Silvia there, almost died in a car accident driving home from there, and it was also one of the last places I got to see Jason…GLD was also where I started to get back into drifting after years off and where I learned my e46. I am so grateful to @streetsagebrad for creating such a safe space for us and always pushing me to progress. Will forever miss my car ALWAYS breaking from the GLD curse and sitting around and drinking tea’s with the boys for the rest of the night. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for everything🫶

Sort of forgot about this account but since the gti is undergoing a big winter refresh i figured I’d post the last year and a half of being blue. Can’t wait for the new color to be on- hoping to have the car ready and done by the end of this month.

Well I wanted to keep the M3s new look under wraps until I completed the cosmetics and fitted my new suspension/wheels, etc but that stuff is a winter of work away and I’m tired of hiding the E30 in the shop.

Those of you from Spain very well may already know the inspiration but if you don’t this is a near 1:1 replica livery of the legendary @francescgutierrez ‘s Group A Pilot E30 M3. A very legendary hill climb car from Spain.

This livery felt right for my car due to my car’s hill climb heritage but furthermore because Francesc happens to be the previous owner of my red evo M3(a Spain delivered car since new), and years ago there was an article featuring both his Group A car and the evo together, and I now can recreate the duo! So there is a great story wrapped into these two cars now, which for me is the coolest part. It only felt right to pay a homage to the Spanish history between both cars.

Even cooler, thanks to the internet, after I posted a video turning my E30 into the Pilot car, it caught Francesc’s attention and he reached out to me to discuss both cars and share some awesome pictures and history. A huge honor!

Thank you to @squareddesign for working with me using only historical photos of the Grp A car to recreate the livery!

And thank you to @b.sturn for shooting the first 4 pics of me at Road America right after I finished the livery.

Well 27 I crossed off a lot of bucket list items! Also broke my cars a lot….😂 Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 28, already kicked it off right with a shoot for @unfinishedlegacy 📈

Milwaukee, this is it. When we started House Circuit, our goal was simple—create unique experiences and push the house scene in this city. Last weekend, we got to see it happen, and it was an emotional moment we’ll never forget.

Huge thank you to @djterryhunter for putting on an incredible show, and to @moorhaus_ , @_tab3r_ , @soundsofphilia for keeping the energy high all night. Big love to @_housecalls_ for teaming up with us and making this a reality.
