“Advice to all aspiring DJs, play weddings.

If you can play a wedding to a load of strangers who don’t know each other, and then watch them as they get drunk, you mould them all together.

And by the end, they’re all hugging each other and, you know, doing congas around the room.

And that’s the way that music unites people.”

— Fatboy Slim (Source: Back2Back Podcast)

He talked about how weddings teach DJs to unite complete strangers through music.

Had a great chat with my good pal @vandamn.wav for the @b2b.cast when I was up in Scotland.

We spoke about impromptu b2b’s at Glasto with @aksportsdj as the sun came up, the story behind the Kylie remix and so much more. We also (drunkenly/brutally) played a game where we rated other DJ’s style 👀

It’s up now via link in the usual spots if you want to check it out annnnnd the EP ‘Follow Ur <3’ drops next Friday on @astral_people ✨💚✨

Just over a year since we caught up with @benhemsley_ , fair to say he has absolutely smashed it since then and as always Yazoo’s Only You remains a classic🪩✨
