I wouldn’t have met my husband, joined the wedding industry, started a family, or run a successful business for 8+ years with his last name 🫠 Basically? My entire current life depended on me and those mozzarella sticks. 🤣🤣

Fun fact: Brandon and I literally met at Applebees in St. Pete almost 20 years ago. Not through friends but through Brandon’s sheer brazen confidence to walk right up and start a conversation! And now he has the coordinates to the booth he met me in tattooed on his shoulder 🫠

During the planning of our own wedding in December 2015, I fell in love with the wedding industry and by September 2016 I had quit my corporate job with $5k in the bank and a dream.

My laptop AND camera broke in the first 3 months. 🤣 My financial cushion was gone and I had to make this business happen FAST.

Year 1 I grossed what I would have made that year in the corporate world. That next year we hit the 6-figure club when I brought Brandon in with me.

Now here we are, so many love stories told. So many dance moves shared. And a tiny human named Dean who is our bestest friend. Life is crazy. Don’t skip the 1/2 off apps.

Thank you @applebees.

Top-secret Elopement unlocked 💌✨ Emily & Matt had a courthouse elopement 2 years ago, but kept that secret until their big wedding at @powelcrosleyestate (pinned on our feed!) came last March!

More couples lately are opting for multiple celebrations—elopements, receptions, or both. Wherever, whenever—you know we’re here for it all. 💋✨

Team Godwin Foundation Gala 2023 🤍

We had a beautiful night at @misionlagoestate raising money to continue making a positive impact on the lives of Tampa Bay’s dogs in need.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports @teamgodwinfoundation in any way!

Personal shots on filmmmm 🫠 My fave is #2. It’s been the busiest summer we did NOT see coming and she’s still goin’! We still found some time to snap some personal film photos along the way this year, which has been such a fun departure from our phones and cameras.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Coming this summer: more branding, maternity, and engagement sessions! Incredible styled shoots on the way, mentoring, new venues getting in touch, reconnecting with our east coast friends for events and weddings…I don’t really know what to say.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Basically I’m equal parts ecstatic + blissfully tired at the end of each day 😊🥳
