Man was this last event of the year a blast. Had its ups and downs as i kept spinning out due to the super slippery conditions first session. i’ll save myself the embarrassment and leave those clips out haha.

Played around with a bunch of suspension changes and finally got the car to feel decent.

Once i over came having to drive the car drastically different compared to in the dry, i was able to drag the ass end across the tire wall lap after lap.

At the end of my last session for group C i was bumped to a light C+ as they put it and got to drive with the group B intermediate drivers on the reverse kidney bean layout.

Surprisingly i got the hang of the, new to me, layout pretty fast without looping it a dozen times compared to my first session 🤣 and got to do my first tandems with a couple other e36’s.

But ofc at end the day off, they sent out all the drivers on grid at the same time for the last run, was doing great, crazy high adrenaline, till i looped it in front of a 3-4 man tandem. thankfully the people behind me were all group A&B drivers so they just used me like a clipping point haha. (sorry to the drivers i looped in front of 🫠)

Thanks to all my friends and family for coming to watch me shred this year, the new friends i’ve made in this wonderful community, and @lockcitydrift_ for always throwing such amazing events and allowing us to kill some tires and progress. ❤️

My first full event couldn’t have gone better. Tons of seat time. Car never skipped a beat and finally ran super cool after making a fan shroud, stewart water pump and putting a thermostat in it since the car never had one. never got over 180° even on limiter the whole time.
Linked the course almost everytime except for a couple spin outs getting cocky.

Time to chase getting bumped to Group B. Next on the list is mounting the M kit, possibly a longer diff ratio and just playing around w alignment setups.

Thanks to the friends and family that came out to watch me shred!
