The Dawgs Top Pitcher Award goes to local talent, Brody Forno!

From being a bat boy at six years old to moving through the Dawgs Academy and becoming one of the Dawgs' top arms, Brody has grown alongside the organization for years.

Forno had a season to remember on the mound, racking up 53 strikeouts and posting a 2.62 ERA during the regular season. He was a key part of the Dawgs' pitching staff all season long.

Well deserved, Brody! 👏🔥

August 7, 2026 - Seaman Stadium. The Okotoks Dawgs with a huge statement win over the Energy City Cactus Rats in game one of the 2026 WCBL West Division Semifinals.

Same as the score tonight, teams facing the Dawgs better be prepared to face a team who is locked in 24/7, because this Dawgs team is hungry.

In the last slide, each Dawg hit a home run, including two for Kievman.

Dawgs can close out the series tomorrow at Seaman Stadium.

August 5, 2026 - Seaman Stadium. The Okotoks Dawgs put on a show to close out the 2026 WCBL regular season with a 9-2 win over the Energy City Cactus Rats and clinch first place in the league.

Ricky Sanchez played all nine positions in nine innings, following his older brother Eddie’s footsteps who also pulled off the same feat with the Dawgs. Sanchez would also make a huge catch at centre field which had the crowd roaring.

Reid Madariaga would pitch while Sanchez was in as a catcher in the 8th inning. Madariaga returned the favour by suiting up as catcher in the 9th when Sanchez was on the mound.

Brody Forno showcased that he is not only dangerous on the mound for the opposing teams, but he can also hit with the best of them, as he earned a double.

Nash Crowell also stepped up into multiple positions as a short stop, and closed out the game on the mound.

Tonight’s game will be one for the memory banks. Everyone who was in the stands or on the field will remember the magical night the Dawgs produced for Okotoks.

Dawgs will be back on their home field on Friday, as they host the Energy City Cactus Rats for game one of their first round matchup.
