Small but mighty double-bill coming your way on Monday!

Versatility is a virtue that Vince Meghrouni and Brian Christopherson (doing musical business tonight as ‘the D.A. Special’ - in tribute to a beloved deli sandwich) both embody. Between them they’ve thrown down in a wide variety of punk rock, free jazz, and art pop projects. I’m always excited to hear either of them in any context, and doubly so tonight as they bring their duo.

Glue Binger returns again! The trio of Adam Hernandez, Brody Scott, and Anton Iakhukin brings the unbridled joy of free music to the foreground. Expect an unfettered approach to some out of the way covers, plus their refreshing and exuberant originals.

Set One:

Vince Meghrouni - woodwinds, percussion
Brian Christopherson - percussion

Set Two:

Celebrate!

It’s a thing we need to do; to stay mindful and connected to the people and things we value. Cornetist and violinist Dan Clucas is spearheading this celebration of sound and collaboration by assembling three sets of extraordinary players; folks with whom he has long and fruitful histories of fellowship and music making. There could be many, many more names on the bill, but as it stands, it’s a pretty good indicator of Dan’s essential role in our community.

Come and join the party that Dan has put together. We’re not ruling out surprise guests, so get there early to catch every minute of exceptional music!
