Deena performing Closed Quarters (First Draft) at Closed Quarters Vol. 1

Deena is a force of nature. Their stage presence is larger than life and their poetry reminds me that there are work still to be done on this magic space rock. But it also reminds me of hope, of days where waking up is not that hard of a thing to do.

Solomon performing his piece Love Again (A Movie Definition In The Making) at Closed Quarters Vol. 1

One other poet, Dhabitah Zainal, dubbed Solomon as the official love poet of the night during the show. I can see why; Solomon have this charm with his demeanor. His lines are calm and wistful, always looking to tug at your heartstring.
