Hi! Once again 15 photographers from the pool collective are presenting their latest video works. The screening serves as both a laboratory and a stage: projects at various stages of development are translated into video form, narratives are condensed, and new forms of presentation are explored. The result is a diverse mix of positions, perspectives and approaches. After the 45-minute screening, the evening continues with a small bar and two live concerts, offering an opportunity to chat with the artists. [LOOKBACK: Swiss Photomonth Screening – Video as a Photographic Language] Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for an inspiring evening dedicated to video as a photographic language. In collaboration with @pool_collective, a series of short works was created especially for the occasion, reflecting diverse perspectives from within their artistic community. Photoforum also invited @itsanabranko – currently exhibiting at our space – to contribute with a new piece that echoed the themes of her show. The evening concluded with a tour of our current exhibitions, an apéro, and many great conversations. More events are just around the corner – check the link in bio to see what’s next.

Geneva screening was super cool! 💫 So great to see so many people there — and even cooler that lots of the artists themselves could join. After the screening, everyone hung out and chatted, which felt really nice. Big thanks to @danaepanchaud and @centre_photographie_geneve for making this happen, to all the artists, to @jonathan.liechti for putting together the full video set and tweaking it right before the show, and to @frederik.vandenberg & @misha_olya_bushkovs for organizing and keeping everything running. 🙌 The new video set for Biel @photoforumpasquart is ready — with a fresh order and new works — and we can’t wait for Saturday at Photoforum for Part 2! 4 October 2025 📍Photoforum Pasquart 19:00 — Images: @jonathan.liechti @misha_olya_bushkovs — Artists: @baa_bap @charlotte_aeb @brambilladiego @emmagodfreypigott @florian_luthi @franziskamartin @jonathan.liechti @marco.frauchiger @mariasarafiphoto @nellastk @pedrorodrigues_studio @roxana.n.savin @sandrasteinfotografin @saraaffolterphotography — Swiss Photomonth 29.08.-05.10.2025 #swissphotomonth — supported by @photoforumpasquart @centre_photographie_geneve @siyu.photography @swissphotomonth

La première publication est prête à 80% [Picture editing] I take the time to look, to choose, to understand. I lay everything out, rediscover it completely. I’m not after the prettiest images, but those that carry something— a trace, a tension, a silence, a connection. It’s a phase I enjoy; I let myself be messy, start over again and again. A very material, slow, yet precious step. This is where the story takes shape. The issue number 1 is 80% done
