Two weeks ago, another targetted attack took place in the Dasht-e-Barchi region of west Kabul at a women's school with predominantly Hazara students. There was hardly any media coverage on the attacks & already has become old news.

The heinous act that took the lives of 53 female Hazara students & severly injured many was a tragedy that should never be forgotten. This was the future of Afghanistan. Young souls with hopes & dreams shattered on their endless fight for education. Families that will never be the same after experiencing such tragedies in a war torn land. May their precious souls rest in peace 💔

The 'Do Not Touch My Clothes' campaign highlighted during this past woman's day is a reminder that we must come together in spreading awareness & understanding. A team divided against itself can break down at any moment. The least bit of pressure or adversity will crack it apart. Our differences that do divide us is because of our inability to recognize, accept & celebrate those differences. There is power in unity, its time we embrace & come together instead of tearing each other apart. #stophazaragenocide #letafghangirlslearn
