Aloo bhajji recipe :
1. Slice and store the potatoes in salt water.

2. Add all the below ingredients to a mixing bowl :
2 small cups of Besan flour, 1 tbsp of rice flour, 1 tsp asafoetida, 1/2 tsp ajwain, 1 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tbsp of heated oil, a pinch of baking soda, and salt as per taste.

3. Mix all the dry ingredients and then add water.

4. Keep mixing the batter while adding water, so that no lumps are formed.
Do not make the batter too watery.

5. Heat oil, dip the potatoes into the batter and deep fry them until golden brown.

6.Tadaa!! They are ready to serve with some pudina chutney or ketchup.

📍 Vasu Hotel, Kanakapura
We went on a sunset ride yesterday and visited this very old restaurant at Kanakapura. We savoured their legendary masala dose and gulab jamoon. One Masala dose here easily fills up and it was a true treat to our taste buds. Masala Dose followed by filter coffee made it a perfect ending😍

It's located around 50kms from bangalore. So it was definitely a good ride followed by good food.

Do save this post and visit the place whenever you are around Kanakapura.
