As we wrap up 2025 and look ahead to 2026, we are filled with gratitude for so many meaningful moments and connections! Here's a brief recap of some of what we did this year:
1️⃣ ACCESS attended AJC's 2025 National Human Relations Award Dinner, honoring John M. Haupert. We're thrilled to see so many new young professionals who engaged with AJC this year!
2️⃣ Former AJC Atlanta Executive Director Sherry Frank and Rev. Dr. Gerald Durley at AJC's Atlanta Black/Jewish Coalition's (@atlblackjewish) pre-show reception for Young John Lewis (@yjlmusical) at the Theatrical Outfit (@theatricaloutfit).
3️⃣ Members of the 2025 Berman Leadership Institute gather for Session 8.
4️⃣ Governor Brian Kemp (@govkemp) issues a proclamation for Jewish American Heritage Month alongside AJC leaders.
5️⃣ We were thrilled to honor our Regional Director, Dov Wilker, with the 2025 Distinguished Advocate Award for his tireless leadership in the community!
6️⃣ The AJC Atlanta team with Yaakov Katz (@yaakovk), author of While Israel Slept, at the MJCCA Book Festival (@mjcca).
7️⃣ Lay leaders listen to speakers at AJC Atlanta's 81st Annual Meeting.
8️⃣ We honored John M. Haupert, CEO of the Grady Health System (@gradyhealth), with the 2025 National Human Relations Award.
9️⃣ Our Black/Jewish Teen Initiative students experienced a Sunday worship service at Ebenezer Baptist Church (@ebenezer_atl) and met Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock.

This Hanukkah, our community mourns the loss of 15 beautiful souls whose lives were taken in the Bondi attack, an act of terror meant to extinguish light and spread fear.

In their memory, we continue to be the light by showing up proudly, unapologetically Jewish, and united in strength and compassion.

Throughout Hanukkah, our consulate participated in events across our region, standing together with our community. We are deeply grateful to our partners and leaders for their solidarity, partnership, and unwavering unity.

May the lights of Hanukkah be a source of comfort, resilience, and hope. Happy Hanukkah and happy holidays to all.

Alumni Spotlight! 🌟 David Kulp ’15 is lighting up Atlanta’s Jewish young adult scene as co-founder of Bayit Ba’Beltline, a spirited Shabbat community drawing more than 100 people at each event. His vision is helping young Jews connect through music, prayer, and shared meals. By day, David is an Emory med student interviewing for residency and planning a future in congenital cardiology… and by night, he’s strengthening Jewish life in Atlanta. A true Lion leader! 💙🦁
