@bac.pit had such a beautiful ballad this year. @iain.moyer gave them an absolute master class in laterals. this is by far the most challenging quad lateral passage i’ve every played, and yet it doesn’t sound hard, just beautiful. must learn for any dci marimba fans. also shout out to the boston media team for putting out such a good video of the front ensemble lot. hope you enjoy!

Next up on our 2021 season series is the Boston Crusaders 2021 program, "Zoom"

This show was actually a field show, unlike BD. Boston utilized video screens on the left side of the field to go along with their show theme. This clip segment, also features a rapper, something experimental that DCI really had never seen, and has not since. The clip ends with the popular, "Flight of the Bumblebee"

Just as a reminder, the 2021 DCI season was an exhibition style (no scores) and an abbreviated tour length, even from today's standards. 2021 was a crazy time for DCI. There were so many experimental shows, and concepts that would never grace a competitive setting.

Do you like what @bostoncrusaders tried in 2021?

My favorite cool people doing cool things with cool effects 〰️〰️

My time in Castleton challenged me so much creatively. I’m so grateful that I was surrounded by the best of the best and for everything I learned in such a short amount of time. Miss you BAC media ❤️ (especially team photo)

It’s hard to put into words what this season means to me. I’ve grown so much as a player and as a human and I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity. I’m so grateful for the people around me who supported me the whole season: my family, my lovely girlfriend, and all of my amazing friends. Being surrounded by so much talent all summer was incredible and it’s amazing to see what you can do with a little help from your friends. I love you all and I’m so proud to be a crusader.

Somewhere in PA, loved this opening chunk from the @bostoncrusaders

The visuals, the writing, the instrumentation. Super awesome moment! And I believe this was the first rep on the field, so not to mention the level of excellence!
