🚨 If you wear microlink extensions, don’t skip this.

How your stylist shampoos your extensions matters.

A proper shampoo:
✨ Protects your investment
✨ Prevents buildup around the beads
✨ Minimizes tangling
✨ Supports the health of your natural hair

Not every wash is the same. Your microlinks should always be handled with intention and care.

💜Save this for your next salon visit, and tell me... has your stylist ever explained *why* the shampoo process is so important? 👇🏾 #microlinksboston

✨ 10 Reasons Microlink Extensions Are Better Than Sew-Ins ✨
(And why the girls are making the switch 👀)

1️⃣ NO BRAIDS = LESS TENSION
Microlinks don’t require tight cornrows underneath, which means less pulling on your scalp and edges 🙌

2️⃣ YOUR HAIR MOVES NATURALLY
No bulky tracks. No stiff install. Just effortless movement that blends like it grew from your scalp 💁🏽‍♀️

3️⃣ MORE VERSATILE STYLING
High ponytails? Middle parts? Half-up half-down? Microlinks give scalp access and flexibility sew-ins can’t always achieve ✨

4️⃣ LIGHTWEIGHT & COMFORTABLE
Forget feeling like you’re wearing a helmet 😭 Microlinks feel lighter and more breathable.

5️⃣ EASIER ACCESS TO YOUR SCALP
You can actually wash, oil, and care for your natural hair properly between installs 🫧🌿

6️⃣ SUPER NATURAL BLEND
Especially for silk presses and natural textures Microlinks disappear into the hair when installed correctly 🔥

7️⃣ NO THREAD = LESS BULK
No sewing thread stacked across your head means a flatter, seamless finish 😍

8️⃣ PERFECT FOR FULLER LOOKS
Want volume AND length without looking wiggy? Microlinks create that luxury “it girl” hair effortlessly 💎

9️⃣ REUSABLE HAIR = BETTER INVESTMENT
With proper maintenance, your microlink hair can be reused multiple times 💰

🔟 THEY GIVE “EXPENSIVE HAIR” ENERGY
Let’s be honest… microlinks just EAT every single time 😮‍💨✨

💕 BONUS:
When maintained properly by a professional, microlinks can support healthy hair growth while still serving nonstop looks.

📌 SAVE THIS for your next hair appointment
📲 SEND THIS to someone still debating sew-ins vs microlinks
💬 Team Microlinks or Team Sew-In? Be honest 👀

✨ HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR HAIR ✨

Consistency is key if you want your style to last AND your hair to stay healthy 💁🏽‍♀️

‼️ Daily Maintenance:
Keep your hair in 4 large twists, secure the ends, and wear a **bonnet at all times** (unless you’re heading out).

💦 As Needed Refresh Routine:
When your hair starts to feel dry or frizzy, follow this method:

1. **Lightly spritz with water (just damp/wet, not soaking)
2. **Apply a light oil** throughout focus on your ends while gently detangling
3. **Smooth with gel** for definition and hold
4. **Lock it in with holding spray** for a long lasting finish

🧴 Products Used:
• Water – spray bottle
• Gel – Eco Styler (Extra Hold, red top)
• Oil – (see picture below 👇🏽)
• Holding Spray – Got2B Glued Freeze Spray (yellow can)

Healthy hair = maintained hair 💖
Save this for later & stay consistent!
