Kick off the holiday season while supporting two worthwhile causes! The Harvest Festival & Auction benefits the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay’s civic advocacy for its residents and Women’s Lunch Place, a day shelter for women in need and who are experiencing homelessness.

Join your neighbors and friends at the shelter’s dining room for a bountiful buffet, music, wine, craft beers, and a wide variety of auction items to vie for!#HarvestFestival #AuctionNight #NABB #WomensLunchPlace #BostonCommunity #BackBayBoston #BeaconHillBoston #BostonEvents #GiveBackBoston #SupportLocalNonprofits #HolidayGiving #CommunityStrong #BostonCharity #BostonFundraiser #DoGoodFeelGood #BostonLife #MyBostonMagazine #HyperlocalBoston #BostonNeighbors #NonprofitSupport

And here she is..."Foxy Lady" has arrived in Boston! Our precious Foxie has blessed us with a rambunctious, loving, curious, sensitive and stunning next-generation Papillon! I will soon change this handle name to a Foxy Lady handle and hope you all will keep this channel and follow us! But for those who followed Foxie, I wanted to introduce you to this sweet pup from Arkansas! I was not looking for a puppy, but when I saw the father Rocco, it was as if Foxie was alive again. He looked just like Foxie and it was her gift. So I clicked on "litter below," and it was instantaneous-love at 1st sight, "Lady" the one with the spot on her head- yes that's the One and she sits so pretty, like a lady! And over my inconsolable grief, I decided to pay homage to Foxie and added Foxy in front to name her...Foxy Lady! 🐾🦊🐾 We hope you enjoy her and will keep watching! She needs time to grow into Foxie's wardrobe...but she will be "dressing up" soon!

"Last Look"- My sweet Angel, so close to 18yrs! "Foxie" was humanely put to sleep yesterday late in the day within my loving arms as soon as it was determined she likely would not fully recover to the life she had known. She did not suffer at all, was aware I was with her and she went peacefully over the rainbow Bridge 🌈. She was at the #1 hospital MSPCA-Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston and just like NiNi, we would not have had it any other way- And boy, did that staff do some stellar comfort-care regimens and genuinely incorporated my own veterinary expertise into her care! We made an excellent critical care team in tandem. The utmost best, for the best dog we could have ever asked for.

Foxie came into this world, a bit special and ahead of her time- figuratively and literally as a "They" but, always presented as a Fox"ie" Girl...she was indeed a rare hermaphrodite (who knew that detail about her?). And, well, we never judged her choice or held that against her!🤣. But, she was setting trends as early as her time in the womb 🫄!
On behalf of Foxie, I want to Thank everyone for your love, support, private messages, comraderie and interest in this "extra-ordinary" dog.
She was lucky enough to have 2 distinct and wonderful lives, one with my Mom in FL (her NiNi) and her 2nd best life, in the City of #Boston with her 2nd Mom, me.
She was probably the most popular and intelligent dog in all of #backbayboston Boston and recognized daily by her dedicated Instagram followers and community fans.
She kept my Mom safe and on an with her Alzheimer's for 1.5 decades, and literally guided NiNi for as long as she did.
My sweet Foxie came to #Boston in August 2021(2 years feels like ~a lifetime here) and quickly found her new purpose, "to put a smile on every face" she passed. She had a palpable effect to any sad face and she could change on a dime, with every stride. Foxie especially gravitated to babies, toddlers, children, the handicapped, service providers, bellman and the elderly 👼👮‍♂️🧑‍🚒💂‍♂️👮‍♀️🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭🧑‍🦽🧑‍🦼🧑‍🦯🧎🏿‍♀️👨🏻‍🍼👵🧓👩🏼‍🍼knowing her job was to bring joy, comfort and reduce fear, worry or temporary pain. Thank you for loving Foxie
