✌️ 60k agents left RE! Why we stay isn't what you think though.

🔜 But why those 60,000 agents left is; it's getting harder, a lot harder.

☹️ Competition is fierce, agents compete with each other, of course, but also with iBuyers, Zillow & FSBO's (which is a welcome competitor).

😞 Inventory for single family homes is at record lows and supply of buyers is out paced leaving many agents unable to secure the deal for their client. It is a costly endeavor on time & efforts.

😤 Economic uncertainty is rocking agents, inability to provide for their families & allure of a glamorous lifestyle vs reality of hard won wins sets in.

💫 Why we stay is simple though:

🪄 We have the winning formula for our buyers they average 2-3 offers to win a home vs the average 7 usually submitted.

👏 Our team is awesome, when one is soaring the others are building. When one has life happen, the others are swooping in. It's a sturdy 3-legged system of support for one & other and our clients. We win - you win!

🧡 But mostly, we love the art of the deal & seeing people home. Guiding the path to their next chapter is an awesome perk to this job.

It's farmers market season! Where are you headed for New Jersey's? Best?

Did you know that we are the number two producer of blueberries! But that's not all, there's a ton of really great products and vendors that show up to these markets. We fell hard for OM champagne & Ort Farms produce. We can't get enough of jersey tomatoes in season. When does that officially start? And what are your farmer market picks that we should try this season? Tag the products we need to try.

It’s true that these are the good old days!!!

WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO MAKE YOU MOVE? Or make your home more about what’s important to you? Or what would be most marketable?

More yard to play Ghost Busters! That’s where I’m at;)

⬇️ Cash Value | ⬆️ Real Estate

I’m here to advise.

Near the end of 2021, inflation topped 6% according to the Consumer Price Index, published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This index is one of the most common measures of inflation (NerdWallet)

New Jersey's home prices grew in 2021 by 19.5%. (RealEstate.USNews) Next year will have more rapid price growth, though slower than the previous year, at 13.6%.

In either year, last or next, your investment in a home ⬆️ your wealth.

If you had cash to put down on a home, that investment increased bc home values increased (a lot) but if you decided to "wait for the market to stabilize", & kept that $$ in a low interest bearing savings account, it did not appreciate enough to counteract the rapid inflation we experienced. You lost value & buying power. Don't do that again!

2022 will still be a hot real estate market BUT lending rates are low, on average 3.1%! (Investopedia) Your savings will continue to lose buying power while that which IS INVESTED IN REAL ESTATE WILL INCREASE.

Do not wait for more inventory. By then your cash will be worth less & home values will have risen again.

There are strategies to find you a home in a low inventory market. Waiting is not your friend.

I’m here to advise.
