TODAYS THE BIG DAY! ‼️venue has changed due to weather ‼️ Tonight at Hippo House (thanks to @perryhouse412) we are playing a very special occasion. @bala.rise - Candrika’s sibling, one of our dearest friends, our designated uke player, our fill in guitarist at times, a huge help in our graphic design, a day one supporter, featured vocalist, so much more- is moving to Philly in a few short days. This show is a going away show, and @uprising.hc ‘s farewell. It is also celebrating the release of their new EP, Ceasefire, AND is celebrating Bala’s birthday. Bad bitches will absolutely be crying— Bala is such a big part of what makes Pittsburgh cool, and such an amazing person to have in our lives. We’re happy for them, but they (and their incredible partner!!) will be so so so missed around here. Their whole band will be very missed too, biases aside, one of the best. Nobody does it like Uprising, but very much looking forward to what future musical endeavors they all take on next! Let’s go fuckin wild for this one. Also performing are Pittsburgh legends @backalleysound and @giovanni_orsini_412. This is one ya just can’t miss!!! NEXT WEEKEND, 8/2, we’re playing a stacked perogie themed banger for yinz at 1010 Freysburg street with wrestling and music from @mr.redofficialpa @opusdeiband @galactic_jihad and @imperialorder412 . We’ve done a few of these shows back in the day at other locations—So good to be back! SEE YINZ TONIGHT!! EP RELEASE SHOW. - Exactly one month from today, we'll be playing our release show and putting out an EP titled "CEASEFIRE" featuring all 3 songs in our setlist that weren't on "Under Threat" - The show will be on July 25th, outdoors under the 40th St Bridge on the Lawrenceville side, and we'll be joined by @lylyth_band @backalleysound and @giovanni_orsini_412, a mixed genre bill of three artists who have all been incredibly important in my journey through Pittsburgh's music scene these past 8 years. 💥 You won't wanna miss this. - Also, just yesterday Lylyth released a phenomenal EP of political punk tracks called "FIGHT BACK!" that you should absolutely check out. - Photo credits: @mean_joe_photos Flyer and album art: @bala.rise CEASEFIRE mixing, mastering, and drums recording: @notosomo

A little bit of news from the PP crew. Our drummer, Brian will be moving away following his graduation from Pitt in a couple weeks. As many of you know, Brian has been a part of this band from the beginning and we're gonna miss him a lot. That being said, there's 2 opportunities left to see this iteration of Pitter Patter. Next sunday, April 27th, we'll be @haven.pgh with @auricechoes & @strange_pains On May 2nd @thegovernmentcenter will be our big send off for Brain, with our good friends in @dayzoffband @fosh.band & @backalleysound Brian's been like a brother to all of us and while we're sad to see him go, we're all proud of him and excited to see what his future holds. While the next chapter of the PP story may look a little different, I pitter promise we aren't going anywhere any time soon
