⬇️ Where are you incorporating teaser series into your class plan, if at all?

This series is done with one red spring, adding different variations to build on the movement while challenging core strength, balance, stability, and control.

Want to try this IRL? I’m at @backbone.la every Thursday.

Monday check-in time 🕺

A little life lately, a lot of people I love, and a reminder that friendship doesn’t have to look the same as it used to to still mean that much.

Anyway, thanks for coming to my weekly emotional debrief.

Stay cool out there, LA.

Teachers: How do you use the dowel in class? Students: Have you tried it? Love it or leave it?

Threading the dowel through the straps adds tactile feedback as you move. It encourages alignment, symmetry, spinal position, and shoulder and hip organization.

This is Dowel Flow, Part 3, make sure you’re following @sweatwithhannah and check out Part 1 & 2. ⬇️

Make sure to save this video, and see you back here for more Reformer Pilates flows like this one.

Teachers: How do you use the dowel in class? Students: Have you tried it? Love it or leave it?

This is Dowel Flow, Part 1, so make sure you’re following @sweatwithhannah for Part 2. ⬇️

A dowel can reveal what your body is doing before you can see it.

Threading the dowel through the straps adds tactile feedback as you move. It encourages alignment, symmetry, spinal position, and shoulder and hip organization.

And as we know: more awareness → better movement.

Make sure to save this video, and see you back here for Part 2.

Monday check-in 🥰

Turns out sometimes you need to stop moving the goalpost long enough to realize you’re already standing in a place you once hoped you’d get to.

A good reminder for me. Maybe for you, too.

Let’s have a great week okay!!!!!!okay!
