88 different folks have generously donated to our campaign. Our goal from the beginning was 100 donors and we’re getting close! 👏☺️

If you have interest and are able to donate, the link to support our food truck campaign is in our bio.

🔥🔥🔥#beavisandbutthead #bagelart by @gigs1734 for today’s update. Brett’s art is available as a reward on our Kickstarter as a #MFDOOM t-shirt or as a set of Ghost Bagel stickers. We’ve also got dozens of bagels available, as well as other donation rewards. Thank you again! Less than two weeks 😬🫣😂

Food Truck Crowdfunding Update👻🥯🚛: Week 6 - We’ve got 18 days to go in our food truck crowdfunding campaign. And we have received 74% of our goal!!! 😊🥹😁

78(!!!) different supporters (friends, family, customers, other wonderful people) have donated. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 👏👏👏

If you have interest and are able to donate, the link to support our food truck campaign is in our bio.

For this week’s update, I wanted to highlight one of the things that I’m most excited to have once we get the truck: refrigeration 😁🥳. Right now, at the market, it’s just our little tables and a couple of coolers. And while we keep our cream cheese in insulated cups and they stay cold, we don’t have the space to keep things we love like smoked salmon from @swisslachs or kimchi from @semper_vivum_fermenti or chili oil from @ayu_foodcare to put on the bagels. That’s why our smoked salmon is always already mixed into the cream cheese. But with the incredible modern marvel of refrigeration, we can store all kinds of bagel toppings, cold brew coffee, iced tea, etc. It’ll be nice to extend our offerings to include different bagel sandwiches, and help us showcase interesting products that we love to pair with our stuff.

📸: everything bagel with chive cream cheese, @swisslachs smoked salmon, dill, tomatoes, red onions & capers 😋

Crowdfunding funding update 👻🥯🚛: Week 5 - we’re up to 64% of our goal with 25 days to go!! 68 individuals have already donated. Thank you soooo much!!! ☺️🥹🥳🤩🤗

To make a donation, follow the link in our bio. And you can swipe right to the 3rd image for some instructions for Kickstarter. (But let us know if you run into any trouble.)

Meanwhile, in addition to hand rolling the bagels and making our market chalkboards and our event flyers and a whole mess of other stuff for Ghost, @gigs1734 has started a series of #bagelart where he takes an album cover and updates it to feature Ghost Bagel somehow. He did the #runthejewels one a few weeks ago and he’s got a couple more in the pipeline. He finished this #MFDOOM one the other day and we liked it so much that we decided we’d make it into a t-shirt and offer it as an additional #kickstarterreward for a 50fr donation to the food truck cause (international shipping is available). We’re limiting this one to 10 donations to make it extra special. It’ll be a simple white shirt with the art printed big on the front and the graffiti "Ghost" on the back, letting everyone know you’ve got good taste in food AND music. 😎

$250,000 stretch goal: You’ve asked for sea bunny slippers, and after consulting with our manufacturer, we are delighted to bring this idea to life! If we raise $250,000, backers will be able to add sea bunny slippers to any order. Slippers are still in the early prototyping phase. We will offer slippers in several “one size fits most” options. Price TBD.

Crowdsourcing Update: Week 2 - we just had a pretty big week for our little food truck plan 👻🥯🚛. We very nearly hit the 25% mark for our goal and we’ve still got 46 days to go. Thank you to everyone that donated!!!! 😊🤗🙌👏🙏🤞

Plus, @kickstarter told us that they selected us as a “Project We Love”, which means greater visibility on the site and inclusion among lots of other super cool projects! 😎

The link to donate and the list of available rewards you can earn for donating is in our bio or you can copy/paste this: tinyurl.com/ghostbagelkickstarter

Ok, so, in addition to the truck, part 2 of our big plan to make Ghost Bagel a real thing is to expand our production by moving into a a professional kitchen. That’ll mean more and better bagels, less sell outs, increased time spent at the markets, maybe some lunch-specific options since we’ll be there longer and have more refrigeration, etc. And our very good friends at @mulinomaroggia have agreed to rent their beautiful kitchen space to us (shown in the picture, look at the oven!!!). We use all of their products already to make our bagels and cookies and muffins so it’s really a perfect fit. Plus, they’ve VERY generously offered to be a sponsor for the truck. We’re so excited. Honestly, they’ve helped us so much since we started so this is all just a continuation of their generosity. The plan is to start working in their kitchen in the early fall and then just add the truck into the new process once it arrives. 😅😁
