Our final event of the year and a truly magical way to close an epic year at Academy of Movement ✨

‘An AOM’s Christmas Wish’ was packed with festive storytelling, high-energy performance and unforgettable moments from start to finish. The show brought together a huge range of disciplines, creating a fast-paced, exciting and visually stunning experience for our audience.

From aerial snowmen soaring through the air, to hoop, straps and Spanish Web, stilt-walking snowmen, pixel and LED acts, jumping stilts, DMT and so much more, this show truly had everything.

We are incredibly proud of our Circus Squad students, aged just 12–18, who created their own acts with very little guidance. The creativity, commitment and professionalism they showed throughout this process completely blew us away, and their hard work and dedication shone on stage.

This show was made even more special as it marked the first time we’ve ever staged a show in-house at Academy of Movement, a huge milestone for us.

A massive thank you once again to @gdmedia_uk for capturing this epic reel so perfectly.

Shall we do it again next year? 🎄✨

🏆✨What an incredible day! 🏆✨

We are SO proud of every single competitor and studio for their amazing performances today. You all brought such talent, passion, and heart to the stage — it was truly inspiring to witness!

A huge thank you to our incredible judges and hardworking staff who made everything run so smoothly. And to all the spectators — your energy and encouragement were everything we could have hoped for (and more!).

One of the most beautiful parts of today was seeing how everyone supported not just their own teams, but each other — a true reminder of the spirit of this community.

Competitions like these help dancers grow in confidence, build lifelong friendships, and push their artistry to new heights. And let’s just take a moment for those gorgeous trophies — absolutely stunning and so well-deserved!

We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow with this amazing group, plus we get to welcome even more studios and competitors tomorrow. Let’s keep the magic going!

We’re counting down the days until the PCD Acro & Aerial Tournament takes flight this weekend — and we couldn’t be more excited!

With 6 amazing studios and several independent entries joining us from across the country, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of aerial and acro skills, creativity, and community.

Why are competitions so great and beneficial?
• They build confidence and push performers to new heights
• Encourage goal-setting and personal growth
• Create a strong sense of community and connection
• Let performers showcase their hard work and passion
• Inspire others with artistry, strength, and innovation
• Something fun to work towards and focus on, getting valuable feedback to use in the future

But that’s not all! We’ve got tons of fun extras lined up:
• Exclusive competition merch to remember the day
• A photographer capturing every epic moment
• A tuck shop with snacks & treats to fuel your flow
• An Instagram wall for those post-performance pics
• A stretch area to warm up, cool down, or just vibe with fellow flyers and bendies

Let’s make memories together! Whether you’re competing or cheering on your studio, we want to see your journey!
Tag this page in your training clips, rehearsal moments, or post-comp celebrations — we’ll be sharing the love all weekend long.

Let’s fly!
