2025! What a year!

I went to a big movie fest for a film I worked on, I dipped my toes into doing BTS, I met all sorts of cool and interesting people, I directed my first ever music video and got back in the director’s chair to finally make a few microshorts.

Thank you all for being a part of my filmmaking journey this year, I hope to have some really cool stuff to share in 2026 🥰

(Also I’m sorry i ran out of tags 😭)

Some behind-the-scenes stills from GOD FROM THE MACHINE, a short I wrote and directed last year. I am so grateful for my beautiful cast and crew for the work they did on this film and for helping me bring the very personal story to life, It truly was a magical on-set experience 🩵🤍

Throwing it back to March when I was Director of Photography / Camera Operator with this incredible cast and crew. So many firsts: dolly zoom, oner, lighting for b&w… Shooting on the Venice 2 was incredible and as exhausted as I felt everyday I always couldn’t wait to get back to set in the morning to crack a celsius and a few jokes with these lads. 🎞️🫶🏼

Haven't posted in a while so here's a little update on my bopping around being silly and (sometimes) working over the past few months in LA. #setlife

Some projects find 𝘺𝘰𝘶 when you least expect it. After wrapping one short film, another door opened and I found myself - just a day later - signing onto another project, thanks to an unexpected and very welcome opportunity. I walked in knowing just two familiar faces - one of the two actors and the executive producer - both, whom I had worked with on the previous short film, but… I left with a heart full of gratitude and joy 🌸💕

Shooting on film was a huge pull for me (and a challenge I enjoyed accepting), but what really stayed with me was the trust, encouragement, and appreciation from a team of mostly strangers who quickly became collaborators I admired. Unexpected calls are often the best ones. Feeling grateful for this surprise chapter and these moments that remind me of why I love what I do 🧿💫

Thank you for pulling me into Ghusl’s world @zaid.hass @imranjkhan & thank you for the wonderful photos @narainbowfilms 📸🤗
