Our weeks have been packed with so much good I feel like if I don’t share, it’s like it never happened. Using my favorite Dolly song because we are celebrating a life well lived. What an inspiration of kindness she was to us all. Trying out this new “multiple captions” feature. Here goes! Back at our Bromley reno to check out the cabinetry progress and to work out the tile details at the fireplace. We are using a zellige mosaic so we are capping the edges with a half round tile to cover both the backer board and the tile edge. Another week, another install! This week we installed the majority of the first floor furnishings. The custom rugs are still on their way soon @savannahhmullin getting everything just right @pahrva was able to get in the same day as our delivery to hang the artwork and mirrors. That light makes the room sing. Another day, another install. I think this makes 5 in 2 weeks! @pahrva was back again installing a house full of art over at our Spanish Modern Reno. These details make a world of difference in a home. A moment for the gallery wall. I popped over to celebrate the grand opening of my sister’s new business, @backninegolf_shortpump . Golf simulators mixed with a swanky, vintage club. It’s even more perfect than I imagined. Check them out! Loved this moment in the restroom Not the most glamorous shot but this is a representation of one of TWO whole home design documentation sets we are issuing this coming week. Every design decision documented with precision to save the contractor from guessing or having to call our clients (or us) a thousand times. We work hard to get ahead of what’s needed since we’ve been answering contractors questions for decades. We had the pleasure of selecting stone for @boscobeltrace lot 7! We made incredible progress nailing down every selection. It’s rare we can knock out all selections on the first go but @empirerva was stocked with beautiful pieces and @spruce_rva was organized and ready to go. I had to stretch to find this one but it’s perfect. This might be my favorite. That incredible stone was PERFECT for our small powder vanity. Look how incredible it wil

I can’t tell you how fun it was designing this space! While it was a personal one, it was so rewarding working on a boutique commercial project. While @thebackninegolf franchise provided guidance on branding and look and feel, we were able to have free rein on the design. No two Back Nine’s are alike! If you would like to check it out in person, @backninegolf_shortpump is running free one hour demos for the next several months so if you are interested check click the link below. https://thebackninegolf.com/local/richmond-va-short-pump/forms/free-demo/ #indoorgolf #backninegolf #golfsimulators #shortpump #boutiquecommercialdesign

Surprise! In addition to running my design firm, my husband and I are opening a golf simulator franchise called The Back 9 Golf. Rachel was my plus 1 for the annual Back 9 Conference in Phoenix, AZ. While I don’t golf I got to learn all about the franchise and what an amazing franchise it is!!! . We are set to open Summer 2026. We will be located at the West Broad Village Shopping Center near Wegman’s and Cabela’s. This will be both of our side hustle as golf is in my husband Tommy passion and I get to design a pretty space. 😀 We are so excited! Much more to come!
