SlapShot’s final show October 17, 2026. This band, and more importantly, these friends have been the Bellweather through my life. Glad we got to have an official send off to the band. Look forward to all that comes next. #slapshotboston

Had an awesome Saturday night seeing Slapshot’s FINAL show! With Agnostic Front, DYS, and other great bands it was a nice send off for them. For 41 years Slapshot kept to their hardcore roots while some either faded away or changed genre. As a native of California who listened to mostly west coast punk since my early 20’s, it wasn’t until I moved to Massachusetts and hearing bands like Slapshot that I was impressed of their sound and what east coast hardcore was like. Slapshot is done but their impact on hardcore will last, thank you for that old tyme hardcore and you can now hang up your boots!🤘

What a night in Boston @bignightlive ! Slapshot’s final show brought together some of the best in hardcore, with Agnostic Front and so many great bands and friends coming together to celebrate a band that helped define the Boston, NYC, and surrounding hardcore scenes.

These bands have been doing this for decades, and last night they proved they can still bring it. The energy, the crowd, and the music were incredible. Being in the pit with my cameras during Agnostic Front’s set, right there with @stigma_nyc , certainly brought back some memories!

For those of us who grew up listening to these bands, it was a pretty special night. A hell of a sendoff for Slapshot and a reminder that this scene is still very much alive.

Photographed for Ion Indie Magazine and WaveRadio Boston.

Still from the Last Slapshot Show tonight in Boston. I’ve got the whole set and will be posting some clips this week for sure. This particular frame stood out because it looks like a Netflix special.
