Our last day in the enchantments brought us the most amazing sunrise after such calm weather during the night. It had been significantly more windy throughout the rest of the trip. We were in complete awe. We enjoyed the peaceful sight with morning coffee. We all spent time enjoying the view.

We also got to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Unknown to us the day before, we did what we could with what we had. So we sang him happy birthday, gave him a chocolate we had left and he blew out the lighter flame. 🤣 🎉

Then we journeyed out to snow lakes trailhead 😫🤣

Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. There could’ve been less catastrophes, but so many memories to last a life time. Grateful for my able body, crazy friends who enjoy similar things, mountain goats, and this beautiful landscape. 🫶

Larch March!!
Day 2 of 4 in the core enchantments. Weather was a little overcast in the morning and then began to clear as the day went on. Travelled a few miles and walked through pure heaven on the way to our next camp for the next two nights! Unbelievable. I’m sure my friends were annoyed with me because I couldn’t stop saying “Wow, wtf is this place! This is amazing!!!!” 🥰😮‍💨😳

Small business ownership is not for the weak. Poured in the blood, sweat and tears, energy and sacrificed time with loved ones to build something. It’s crazy working for a vision no one can see but you. Finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hoping to finally be able to take some time off in the future to travel again and maybe once again see some Banff blue 😍!

The jumble of boulders have been laid over by layers of springy dead palm fronds, with rooms and alcoves snaked in between the trunks. The live crowns rustle and the smell of old cane furniture seeps up around everything.
