Shambala Part 1. @shambalafest what a magical experience. I feel so lucky to have stumbled across such a wonderful festival and to have connected to as equally wonderful people ☀️🎪☀️🤸
Each year I get quite reflective on how much I've changed since the last one. I think this is because I sort of see my first ever shambala in 2018 as a sort of a final culmination of events that made me feel like I was stepping into a more positive version of myself. I was stepping into a life that felt more vibrant and fulfilling.
It's cool to reflect back and see the evolution; I feel my like my own version of what an independant confident adult that still feels like an authentic version of me. Not an adult who converses with people using a polite phone voice, shielding away any form of personality. But I still have a long way to go.
The video are some clips from @waitingroomtheatre. I do think I am in love with the waiting rooms to a point where I'm possibly self-conscious about it in all honesty. But I am constantly in awe of how free these people are as they perform throughout the night. It's something so novel, silly and unique and always one of my highlights to witness. For someone who possibly has some form of demand avoidance and freezes up on the spot, these kinds of expressive people always have my admiration.
More cheesy reflections on part 2.. 👀💥

Some tattoos I’ve done recently! A mix of flash and custom pieces.

The whiptail catfish gap filler was particularly fun to draw straight on. I’m constantly humbled by the trust people give me to mark their skin forever. Thank you all for letting me do the thing I love most for a living 🖤

Book always open - DM or email me your ideas!
