7th MAY, NORTHAMPTON: THE BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE! Join us at 11am at The Market Square as we begin our peaceful March around the local area to show solidarity within the Community against Knife Crime in our County. Some of you may have heard about the impressive Knife Angel Sculpture that has layed claim to it’s position at the front of All Saints Church in our Town Centre. The impressive, grandiose & profound sculpture is made from over 100,000 Seized blades. It was specifically created to highlight the negative effects of Violent behaviour whilst highlighting our need for Change. Those that have visited the Knife Angel will see it stands at an impressive 27ft Tall.. with an expression that seems to invite us to pause & reflect. It’s expression is filled with Sorrow and it’s hands seem to represent strength, but they are almost pleading for peace… What is YOUR interpretation? Come down and let us know..
OUR MARCH WILL RETURN TO THE MARKET SQUARE AT 12, where We will be joined by West Northamptonshire Council, Knife Crime Victim Support, BBC, Inspiration FM, Lay It Down, Guest Speakers & a Host of Musicians from across the County. This is YOUR opportunity to be heard. We as a Community must stand up against Knife Crime, Violence & Aggression. Some of our Artists have shared their thoughts and told us why it means so much to them, to be performing on the Day (See Below) Together we can be a Voice for the Voiceless. Show the Country that Northamptonshire is at the forefront of change
LET LOVE BE GENUINE, HATE WHAT IS EVIL, HOLD FAST TO WHAT IS GOOD

“We will each play our part. We will not be afraid. Today we choose to believe in hope”

See You All on Saturday!
