Backstage Convention Day!! 🤍✨

Yesterday was filled with tons of dancing, special awards, call-out performances, and one milestone birthday! Our dancers had the best day learning, growing, and building their technique across all styles! We are SO proud of our dancers and their determination, hard work, and perseverance throughout such a long yet rewarding day!

A special congratulations to Sophia K. for being awarded a Competition Scholarship and to Lux G. for being named the Theater Jazz Stand Out Dancer! Congratulations to all of the dancers who were called out to perform during the final convention performances, as well as the dancers who completed their very first conventions!

CONVENTION SEASON IS HERE! 🔥✨

I’m so excited to kick off my first of 6 conventions this weekend! A few tips to help you make the most of your convention days:

1. Wear something you feel comfortable + confident in.

2. Find a spot where you’ll FOCUS. Step away from your friends and outside your comfort zone.

3. DON’T SKIP THE WARM-UP. Give it your all—it sets the tone for the entire class.

4. TAKE CORRECTIONS + STAY OPEN TO LEARNING. You can learn something from every teacher and every class.

5. DON’T WORRY ABOUT BEING SEEN. Focus on learning, growing, and getting better. The right people will notice.

Come ready to work, learn, sweat + HAVE FUN. 🤍

Let’s make this convention season a good one! 🔥
