A weekend filled with love, laughter, music and a monsoon. But as always we made lemonade out of 🍋 and had a blast in spite of our first night at Tedeschi Trucks being cancelled (I hope someone fabulous gets our 2nd row center seats for tomorrow’s rescheduled show) From the moment Kofi’s pic flashed on the screen until the end I believe I sobbed. The Allman Bros were my first love and the first album I ever owned was Eat a Peach and so TTB always pulls at my heartstrings. Cheers to Bev on her birthday and wishing her a fabulous spin around the sun and to the bond of music that keeps us young.

If you told me 5 years ago that one of my favorite new bands and artists would be in the bluegrass/jamgrass genre I would have said you’re crazy. However thankfully my cool af mom @backstreetsbev who is constantly on the search for new music to fill her soul adamantly told me “you need to witness these guys, I’ve never seen anything like it” 10 shows later she was right as always and I’m as hooked as can be. Counting down to the next one, thank you for an incredible weekend !! @billystrings

Started taking my kids to Foo shows in 2009 for their 14th birthday. Many tours later, I am on the rail in Fargo, North Dakota (!!!) with my beloved Bevala @backstreetsbev talking about the joy of raising kids on rock n’ roll. Smiling all the way home. Blessed. Grateful

And the last leg of the tour will need two posts. Charleston, Raleigh (with the western sun fundraiser and a private sound check) MPP, Boston and Spac. The heat was insane but the shows were hotter. One more post after this to complete my three month journey.
