I'm not a professional reviewer, nor am I looking to become one. I'm an artist. I make things, write music, create videos, and share observations about the places I discover.

Sometimes an experience stays with me and I find myself wanting to share it. This was one of those times.

There was something genuinely welcoming about the entire experience. A sense of community that I don't always encounter at outdoor music venues.

From the helpers who greet you when you arrive and help you navigate around, who answer questions and always with a smile, to the visitors, families with kids, people walking their dogs, the shipping container bar, pizza, live music, over 2 miles of recreational trails and natural play areas were available for the kids. It was mind-blowing really. I'm so delighted that this place is so close to our home and that we get to enjoy it.

Beautiful Autumn woods, trails, fire pits, rustic log chairs, live music, food, drinks and a whole lot of thoughtful touches that make this play something special.

Thank you Backwoods for what you've created here. I look forward to seeing you again and again in 2027.

Ever since Paddy has been out with a hand injury we’ve been finding it really difficult to get along with our fill in bassist, Nate Kalnitz. Come see how it’s going this weekend. 😘😍❤️🤷‍♂️

What a night @backwoods.krf ! 🤘🔥

Huge thanks to everyone who came out, got rowdy, and made our debut a night we’ll never forget. The place, the people, the energy… we couldn’t have asked for a better first time there.

Big thanks to @trentyulemusic and the whole Backwoods crew for having us and making us feel right at home. And big shoutout to @cranemike for capturing these moments — some beautiful shots from a hell of a night!

We can’t wait to be back. ❤️
