Another fall trip in the books. 🎃 🍁

Pumpkins, cinnamon bread, Dollywood, blue grass, mountain views, black bears, smores, singing chickens, southern cooking + an extra 5lbs gained, gem mining, cider tastings, treehouse trails, smore s’mores, attractions for days, slow mornings, and memories we will have for a lifetime. Tennessee, you didn’t disappoint!

We’ve got our FIRST 🍉!!

I feel like in your mid-30s you pick up a hobby like Mahjong or gardening… I’ve done both. 🤭😂

I’m definitely not a master gardener and wouldn’t quite declare that I have a green thumb (RIP to our jalapeño and strawberries), BUT I promised the kids when we built our garden boxes that we’d grow a watermelon.

Despite this HOT Texas summer, we actually did it!! From a tiny little watermelon to finally cutting it open tonight, the kids have loved watching it grow.

And tonight, we finally got to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Pun very much intended. 🙌🏽🌱🍉

Happy 4th birthday to our silly boy. Grey you have grown so much this year and continue to be such a happy guy. You’re a friend to all, a gentlemen to the ladies, a cat enthusiast, an aspiring chef, future Mr. Fix it, unintentional comedian and the best brother / son.

And as you told me this morning, “You’ll always be my baby. Even when you’re a grown up.” 💙🩵

Happy 6th birthday to our sweet, energetic, silly, fun-loving, and charismatic boy.

Declan, you’ve grown so much this year, and you continue to be such an amazing big brother, friend, and son.

This little glimpse into your year is you in a nutshell. I’m so lucky I get to be your mom. 💛
