THE MAN, THE MOOSE, THE LEGEND.
Happy birthday *today* to @anthonydsalerno!

He’s incredibly talented in music and lighting, along with other aspects of visual and auditory art.

But what is most important is his heart.

Anthony’s trust in God and His willingness to be obedient to the Lord, no matter the cost, is so beautiful.

And — he’s handsome on the outside, too! 😘

Thank You to God for Anthony being born into the world.

And thank you to Anthony for cooperating with God to become the person he is today.

Happy birthday, Moose!

WHEN WE FIRST MET.
I’ve always wanted a photo from the first time I met my husband, but I knew there was no way to make this happen. What would I do — every time I meet a guy, ask if we could take a picture together, just in case? 😊 Of course I knew I couldn’t do that so I just set that desire before the Lord.

Well, God answered my prayer!

@anthonydsalerno and I had only been talking about five minutes when we first met, when @badboygko wheeled up in a wheelchair with a big DSLR camera and asked if he could take our picture. He had a printer there and printed out a copy for each of us, so we actually have a photo from when we first met!

Look at Jesus!

He cares so deeply about writing the details of our love stories, and He even places those desires in our hearts from years prior to their fulfillment.

I accidentally left my copy in someone’s car and let them throw it away – I didn’t know at the time that he was my husband; I hadn’t “gotten the picture” yet 😉 – but fortunately Anthony kept his.

Now, the printed photo from that day is so precious to me that I haven’t even let it be in the sunlight or ever taken it out of the frame, even to scan it for a copy, because it was the only one that we have and I just didn’t want anything to happen to it!

So I’m so grateful that yesterday morning, just as I was thinking about wanting the digital copy, @lee.benton sent it to me! She said she was up late searching for it and finally found it. (We met at her ministry at CBS Studios @cbsla on Anthony’s birthday.) Thank you Lee!

To all the singles out there, if you have special desires about the way that you will meet your spouse or what will happen along the way, ask God! He is so gracious to give us confirmations.

It’s not only to delight our hearts but it’s also for His purposes, so we are assured through the trials of what He has promised, and so we know that He is the center of it all!

Keep Jesus as your focus, and all the things you are concerned about — He will take care of it.

“Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
— Jesus
