‘Tis the Season for...FANGS!!!

SURPRISE! We have been hard at work behind the scenes for this year’s event!

Starting NEXT WEEK on Wednesday (WhatNot), we will be doing shows on the 28th and 29th with some bleed over to Alé Garza’s mini-con event over the weekend! (I will also be with Ale and company for his show).

What’s exciting about this year’s event is we are all going to be under the same roof! 😃 So come join me, @alegarza77, @stephanerouxart, @marissapopeart, and @somewriterguy for some treats (no tricks!) ❤

(Note: Our buddy Bill McKay had to skip this due to some conflicting scheduling issues, he will return to our pack of silliness and fun for the next season)

I’ll be posting the schedule later today! Everyone’s been absolutely killing it with the covers, and I cannot wait for us to show them off to you all! I am seriously abusing the exclamation points on this post!!!!!!! hahahaha

To start the fun, here’s a tease of my cover!

Last @newyorkcomiccon post! Some of these were shared before but hit the tag limits, so I want to properly tag them. Here’s a bunch of NYCC pickups, and some last photos from the con. First thing I had to pick up was this Metal Gear Solid print from @seangordonmurphy. Perfect companion piece to last year’s Star Fox one. Two important games from my childhood.

Picked up these Ghost In The Shell post cards from the Kodansha House pop up. These are prints of drawn frames from the 95 film, Stand Alone Complex, and Arise.

@spacebetweenent books Vixx The Hunter, which I provided the art in the back ups for, and Nor Hell A Fury from @adriannepalicki and @ericpalicki. @mears.hayden came by during signings and dropped off his first published book, Milkywave, featuring colors from the amazing @porrafabi_.

A page I drew in Vixx The Hunter.

Another page from Vixx.

And another.

@gabrielmariocomics and @felipe_cunha were kind enough to give me their latest samples, and it’s amazing to see the growth a year later. Great artists you should already be following if you aren’t already. Bookmark from current X-Men artist @tiago_palma, who just keeps getting better and better, and is one of the coolest people in the field!

@mccomicker passed along these sketchbooks, which are just beautiful, and @badbugmakescomics sent me home with an ashcan of Man’Hor. Hope the con was great for you both!

Anyone who knows me well enough knows how much Halo means to me. I couldn’t find where I stored away my copy of the original Halo: Combat Evolved, my very first Xbox game, but I got the next best thing signed by the Master Chief himself, @sdownes117! Definitely now one of my most prized possessions. Thanks so much for the time, Steve! Absolute pleasure meeting you, and hope you enjoy the print!

Signed this box that has a bunch of @spacebetweenent signatures! Featuring art from @othalamart.

And here’s some of other things from the show!
