Wow!! Now that the dust has settled it’s great to look@back at what an incredible night Sunday was (apart from the World Cup)!

I had the pleasure of working alongside the amazing crew @thecocktailtradingco for #HastingsPirateDay as well as #nationaldaiquiriday and boy was it a gooden!!

We were blessed with to have @badcatalice @sam__moseley and @cbs along for the evening shaking & stirring their signature @vspiritsbrands cocktails as well as @my_little_frenchy & @fine.and.dan.dy shaking their tail feathers making Daiquiris all night long!

The evening wouldn’t have happened if it hadn’t had been for @montyy_.holly & @cabbage.goose and their hard work!

All I say is bring on the next one you filthy land lubbers!!!

It’s taken me a moment to rest and actually take in what this March was.

From London to Tkaronto (Toronto), back to London, and over to Budapest, this month moved. Marking International Working Women’s Day meant showing up fully.

Thanks to Bartender Atlas @bartenderatlas
curating the stage at Restaurants Canada, I had the honor of delivering my first Bar & Beverage keynote this year. March also meant relaunching both The Cornsilk Road and @doommersive after a 3 year hiatus and seeing the impact they still make in our communities. I'm also proud to have worked on the Mother of the Corn, Strawberry Feralweisse with @el_tiburolobo and @werewolfbeer. Releasing my first zine since college was also a highlight (non-presale list full-colour + bonus content drops tomorrow). Ending the month in Budapest with @ldn_rumrunner for a masterclass and takeover at @leorooftopbudapest was the perfect way to close the month.

Alongside all of that, there were still moments that reminded me why this work exists in the first place. But what stood out more than anything was the support being in community, especially with other Indigenous people, and feeling the strength of femmes and matriarchs in this industry who showed up when it mattered.

This month was about continuation, about building with intention, and about being held while doing it.

Pesa-U!
Thank you to everyone who showed up and moved through it with me.
