this past friday and sunday @mayumi_market celebrated lunar new year with 60 AAPI (Asian/Asian-American/Pacific Islander) vendors and 4,000+ patrons collectively! it’s so amazing to see how much MAYUMI has grown since i first started the brand @mayumigoods a couple years ago and @mayumi_market just launched last may! i am so so thankful for this wonderful community of both creators and patrons who have come to show up and support AAPI small businesses and artists. big thanks to @commonspacela for having us sunday and for @qna.la for having us for our first night market friday at @catchonela. most importantly, @mayumi_market would be absolutely nothing without the talented creators, makers, artists, chefs and djs that we highlight at these events. i was a bit skeptical doing @mayumi_market on the same day as Super Bowl Sunday but it ended up being our busiest market yet and it was SO FUN to end the day with a halftime performance by Usher as both vendors and patrons danced and sang (or screamed) along lol. p.s. i love that everyone that comes to mayumi is always so cute and hot!!!!! all glamour shots by @sydstudios.photo 📸
